- Assists trainees in the assessment of needs and identification of outcomes.
- Plans, prepares and maintains materials for use in educational programs for accuracy and relevance to the target audience.
- Demonstrates and teaches patient care in classroom and dialysis units to student trainees and instructs trainees in principles and application of physical, biological, and psychological subjects related to dialysis: Lectures to nurse trainees, conducts and supervises classroom work, reporting and exams.
- Supervises nurse trainees and demonstrates patient care in dialysis units.
- Prepares and administers examinations, evaluates trainee progress, and maintains records of student classroom and clinical experience.
- Participates in planning curriculum, teaching schedule, and course outline.
